In a movie seemingly ripped off of the Japanese sensation Battle Royale, the WWE’s Stone Cold Steve Austin and Vinnie Jones star in The Condemned, where death row inmates battle to the death on an island, with the final survivor getting his or her freedom.
I had not heard about this, but the director of the new TMNT movie is planning a dark, CGI Gatchaman aka Battle of the Planets movie. Could be cool.

I’m very excited about the new Buffy: The 8th Season comic book series. Granted, I wish it was the movie or TV movies Joss Whedon tried to get off the ground, but I’m just happy to see the story of Buffy continue.
